Corfe Village Hall is situated in Newton Lane opposite the Church and War Memorial just off the B3170.

PARKING

There is parking for 11 cars immediately outside the hall. Further parking is available across the main road in the Church car park on Mill Lane. The hirer must ensure that those using the hall do not obstruct rights of way or park on the private road to Barton Grange. No parking is allowed on the field.

QUEENS ACRE

The children’s playground (for under 12’s) in the Queen’s Acre field outside the hall is available for the use of the hirer, but may also be in use by other children not attending the event in the hall. Please pay attention to the safety notices. No Dogs are allowed on the field or in the Hall.

INSURANCE

Corfe Village Hall is insured with Zurich Insurance. The buildings are covered against fire and theft. The Village Hall is covered for public liability. The Village Hall is NOT insured, nor accepts liability for any article damaged or stolen belonging to anyone hiring or using the Hall. Marquees, Bouncy Castles etc., erected on the adjoining Queen’s Acre field will also NOT be insured by the Hall. The Village Hall is insured in respect of breakage of glass and sanitary fittings and for personal accident to officers of Corfe Village Hall (see policy for limits).

FACILITIES

If you have not used the Hall before then we will arrange for the Booking Manager to meet with you and show you everything you need to know.

Kitchen

The kitchen is available to all hirers. It has two sinks, a double cooker, microwave, water heater, fridge and an industrial standard dishwasher. Standard utensils and equipment are provided. Cutlery and crockery are available for around 80 place settings. There is a serving hatch through to the main hall.

Please take away all rubbish as we have no collection facilities from the Council and in general leave the kitchen as you find it.

Equipment

About 80 stackable chairs are available for seating. There are 12 long folding tables (seating 6 to 8 people) and 6 smaller folding tables (seating 4 people) available for use.

The hall has free 5G/4G EE Wi-Fi and there is a permanently fixed projector screen at the far end of the hall (marked on the plan). Please note, to make use of the screen, you will need to bring your own projector

Toilets

Three are available, including facilities for people with disabilities.

Heating

The hall is heated by an electro-warm heater system which is easy to operate and very effective. They do take about 20 – 30 minutes to warm up the hall, so allow for this.
