I have been hosting  quizzes in the vIllage hall at Corfe for over 12 years now.  The first was in 2014 were funds went towards the village hall. Then followed a quiz for the NSPCC which was my preferred charity at the time. But in 2016 I decided that all the quizzes would be for MNDA.  I had no idea as to the awfulness of this disease until experiencing it at first hand.

Therefore,it was important for me to bring an awareness and to highlight the support both sufferers and carers need.  Since then we are frequently hearing of more sufferers , most significantly, high profile sportsmen and women.

Over the years ,I have been hugely grateful for all the support I have been given by villagers, both local and not so local. Your enthusiasm has been infectious and the gentle competition is palpable.  Of course, the Quiz doesn’t function well as it does without Nick. He has been so generous in his time and the effort he devotes to making this quiz as successful and as popular as it is. His eclectic choice of themes offers something for everyone.

 But all good things must eventually come to an end. I feel that the time has come to end on a high. It will be the twentieth quiz which seems like an appropriate number on which to finish.

Book  your team of 4/6 with me either by phone or email. Bring your own drinks and nibbles and arrive by 7pm to settle in and hype up your team.
